About

Robert Quintana Hopkins, PhD is an organizational development consultant, Certified Technology of Participation Facilitator (CTF) and Qualified Trainer (QT) of the Institute of Cultural Affairs' (ICA) Technology of Participation™ (ToP) facilitation methods.  Utilizing participatory processes, he helps groups, teams and organizations clarify their direction, develop implementable strategic action plans and collaborate effectively together.

Whether employees, volunteers or community members, when people are involved they give greater discretionary effort, build stronger working relationships, work toward a common vision and share responsibility for success, leading to higher performance and better outcomes.  No single person can create large scale, long lasting organizational or social change alone.  It is through collective action that we create the greatest impact.

Drawing upon 20 years of leadership and management experience, Robert helps groups of individuals change their own lives, change organizations and change communities.

Approach

We customize our five phase consulting process to achieve each client's objectives.  Our approach emphasizes the participation of key stakeholders in planning and implementing change.  We balance thinking and action, consistently integrating opportunities for learning and reflection so that current and future actions are continuously adapted and improved.

Our Consulting Process:

Assess- gather internal and external data to identify trends, strengths, opportunities and gaps.

Plan- develop a long-term strategic plan, and/or create a concrete short-term action plan.

Act- implement the plan and ensure key stakeholders have the appropriate level of ownership.

Evaluate- measure outcomes and impact based on pre-established targets and success indicators.

Learn- observe, reflect, interpret and adapt throughout the continuous process of change.
